South Fork Zaloos river clean-up

Partnering with the New River Conservancy, we are looking for volunteers to help us get two, highly traveled stretches of the New River cleaned of as much debris as possible. We will meet at Zaloo's at 10 am and form two teams to allow us to cover more area. Team 1 will clean from Zaloo's to Roan Creek while Team 2 cleans from Roan Creek to the Wagoner Access.

Zaloo's will provide a few boats (bring your own if you have one) and shuttle services. Keep Ashe Beautiful will provide trash pickers bags & gloves if needed. New River Conservancy will provide a large raft for larger debris and arrange for dumpsters at the end of each segment. Lunch will be provided by Kristin's Hook'd on Smoke.

Waders are required as well as good boots! Bring water. Please register below:
